The Aures School applies a competency-based approach to the Algerian National Curriculum. International standards (Common Core Standards in primary leading to iSecondary, iGCSE, and AS/Alevels in middle and high school) enrich all students’ learning experience. We work closely with the Algerian Ministry of National Education to serve as a model for best practices in teaching and inclusion of students with diverse learning needs. Teachers focus on the essential skills students need to master across the curriculum and supplement instruction with activities to develop critical thinking with a love of learning and personal achievement. We devote additional time to develop mastery of English, Arabic and French in alignment with students’ profiles.
