The core slogan of the school is “Effort Determines Success.” We teach our students that daily effort in class is equally important as marks on final exams. To meet the needs of our diverse community, the Aures School uses Universal Design for Learning to plan lessons that are accessible for students of all backgrounds and abilities.

In addition, Daily 5 forms the framework for Literacy in primary, a daily session of literacy activities including Read to Self, Read with a Friend, Listen to a Book, Work on Words, and Writing. Students learn to read in two alphabets: Arabic and Roman (the alphabet of French and Arabic) and develop vocabulary and communicative skills in their third language.
